The Christmas Spirit

The Christmas Spirit comes through all sorts of missions.

Loved ones gathering round illuminated lights,

For a read of the first Christmas night.

Gingerbread houses decorated with delight,

Gifts for Mom and Dad, youngsters, and pets in sight.

Wishes granted of snowflakes and sheets of white,

Making the season festive and chilly but fully adorned.

Through all sorts of missions,

Loved ones gathering to rejoice in the birth of Christ.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

  2. Merry Christmas Dianne. Thank you for a year of wonderful postings! Regarding your poem – I can embrace all – with the exception of ‘sheets of white’ – not good for my plants!

My best wishes for a happy day for you and your family and another year of friendship!
