Be intimate with nature,
With the one you love;
Dine in an apple orchard,
A forest, or by the seashore.

I have been intimate with nature. With this wonderful cooler weather I have been out in my garden for most of the morning for several days. It is so pleasant to work out there. We have been digging up day lilies for separation, but sad to say, we didn’t replant them. We are getting to the age where we want to make life easier. Having a formal garden out front, I plan on replacing them with some statuary or an urn to plant annual color flowers in that are easy for me to take care of. The leaves, I have been intimate with, with the aphid honeydew on the fallen leaves they stick to me like glue when I pick them up!!
Does it qualify that I ate an apple yesterday, in my kitchen, not in an orchard. It sure was crispy and sweet.
We love camping and I especially love the seashore, will be going to Monterey at Christmas time and will enjoy that so much.
